Co. Wicklow is located just south of Dublin traditionally known as "The Garden of Ireland". Wicklow displays a scenic beauty that justifies this name. Archaeological and historical remains abound, particularly in West Wicklow. But there is far more to Wicklow than its magnificent scenery. Famed for its beautiful scenery and historic monuments Glendalough has been a centre for pilgrims and visitors from the time of it's founding.

One of the world's great gardens situated 12 miles south of Dublin in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains.

The lovely village of Avoca plays host to the BBC series Ballykissangel.

This was established in 1991 and is one of the six National Parks in Ireland managed by Duchas.

The centre occupies a beautifully restored 1843 court building and is the venue for a busy schedule of concerts.

The Wicklow Way passes Kyle farmhouse near Moyne. This is a long distance walk which extends from Marlay Park in South Dublin to Clonegal in Co. Carlow, a distance of 132km (82 miles).
