The lovely village of Avoca plays host to the BBC series Ballykissangel.
The lovely village of Avoca set on the Avonmore river plays host to the BBC series Ballykissangel which is tremendously successful all over the world and draws great numbers of visitors to the place. The village set includes the Church of St. Mary and Patrick, built in 1862 and Fitzgeralds' the Local watering hole known as the 'Fountain Bar'.
